A peer-reviewed, international journal for Old Turkic philology.
Founded in 2017. Nine volumes were published on DergiPark between 2017 and 2025; from 2027 onward, JOTS is published in print and online by Franz Steiner Verlag, Stuttgart.
JOTS publishes original research on Old Turkic linguistics and philology, runic inscriptions, Old Uyghur Buddhist and Manichaean texts, historical Turkic lexicography, and digital humanities.
